Even though, a popular sleep study that was done on the trucking industry shows that the number of commercial drivers with sleep apnea was not much higher than the ratio of sleep apnea in general population, the trucking industry is taking the problem very serious.


Sleep apnea can come from excessive fat keeping air from flowing freely but other reasons could also cause this problem too such as error in brain signals sent to the necessary muscles.
