With team drivers does one person have to be in the back when the other is driving

With team driving if one person is driving is the other allowed to be in the other seat or does he have to be in the back?


Is that a law?

My husband is a team driver & while my husband is driving, his team driver is in the sleeper berth sleeping & while my husband is sleeping in his sleeper berth, his team driver is driving unless they are doing a 34 hour reset at a truck stop! I take it you sound like a brand new driver!
