Will speeding tickets under the age of 18 count when considered for hiring as a trucker?

I was a speed demon at age 16. My parents gave me a race car which my first day keys in hand i got 2 tickets...since then i would get random tickets here and there but now at age 22 i have not received a ticket in going on 2 years now...will they still not consider me for hiring?

Speeding Tickets and trucking

Most companies have requirements by their insurance to have no more than a certain number of tickets within a certain number of years prior to trying to get a job at the company.

For some trucking companies its 2 major in 5 years other 2 in last 6. Some 10 years. Some in 2.

You'll have to call companies and see how they respond.

After meeting those requirements however the hiring person still can determine if they want to give you a chance or not.

I would think at that age they would cut you some slack. I know how I was driving at that age!
