will i be able to get a job as a driver if im blind in one eye?

i was assaulted in 2008. this left me with one eye. im thinking about trying to get my cdl. im wondering if i could get a job.

Answer to your question of getting CDL with one eye

I also lost vision in one eye due to cancer. I tried for 5 years to find a way around it but the fact is, I will never get my CDL. I know its not what you want to hear. My family are truckers, but im going to have to let it go. Good luck.

i am not sure , but i think driving a van expedite or a pickup with wedge trailer requires reg license and that only requires at least 20/40 in one eye. but for dot i think its 20/40 or better in both eyes.
