It will vary from employer to employer on how they will handle your speeding ticket.

If it is 1st offense, likely nothing will become of it if its less than 20 over the speed limit.

No other tickets with the speeding ticket.

Get a lawyer and get it taken care of especially if its for 10+ OVER.

Dont know how it might affect your employment. It depends on speed, cops and locale of offense. Check with local department of motor vehicle.
