Wife of a soon to be Trucker

My husband is about to start Truck Driving School. I would like some advice on how to be more supportive and keep the relationship from dissolving.

My husband hates the thought of having to leave the kids and me behind. I work from home and we have 2 kids, one of our children has autism.

After many years of job searching he has discovered that this is the only job where we will be financially independent and able to buy our own house.

Any advice would be helpful.

Engaged to a soon to be trucker NEW

My fiancee and I have been together for 3 yrs. He is leaving to drive in 2 weeks and freaking out. It may have something to do with his ex cheating and leaving him broke the last OTR job he had, but I'm not her. We have been struggling the last few weeks because he has let the fear take over. He is scared that I will get lonely and change my mind about being with him. I love this man with everything and I'm willing and happy to make that sacrifice for his happiness. Any advice on how to deal with his fears?

Sex during home time... And remember it's just as hard being on the road for him as it is for you at-home.... It's nonpicnic on the road
