what does it mean when your man starts using the "we" in his conversations?

my man has been a truck driver for many years and about 5 years ago he has been saying we, like we have enough food to get me by, and we are coming home.... he will tell me this means him and his truck!

I want to believe him, but confused as he has not always said WE. someone please give me some insight to this....

Response: If that is the only thing you have to wonder about then it's probably nothing. I always say we also depending on my mind state.
Happy and upbeat, hype about doing something I like is when I must often will say we.

He probably just picked it up from another driver or from the CB. It's common for a driver to pick up common lingo heard so often. He might start saying 10/4 or Roger 10 to you on the phone, but then again, that might only be me. lol

There must be some other issues for you to take just the usage of that word in that way though. That issue is what you might want to deal with because it is or will likely cause problems in the relationship.

Could he mean his 100% all-beef thermometer!!!!

Come onnnnnnnn this is what he means he's letting you know heads up what the first thing he wants to do when he gets home hellllooooo!!

You can look up the link above to get some funny pictures and different names for this body part.

Plainly people really need to quit trying to analyze everything that comes out of a persons mouth, this causes the real problem, we are not mind readers and just plan ask the person what it is that they mean when they say something!!! Try taking a positive thought vs. the negative approach and have some fun vs. hating!!!

it's not unusual
by: Anonymous

It' not unusual for a man to say " we " when he's a truck driver, because he's in his truck all the time, more than he's not. I'm surprised he hasn't given his truck a name of its own. :) Seriously, after being married to him as long as you have, you should know your husband better than anyone.

If he's willing to take one of the kids, but not you, I'd say you have nothing to worry about, other than resentment issues that need to be worked through.

lingo

Did you read the words "many years", he also ignores me when he comes home and acts like he was just home yesterday, when infact he has been gone for weeks or months at a time.

I have asked to go out on the truck with him many times only to be shot down for any reason he can come up with, but will take the kid or kids with him, whenever they ask.

(We have been married for 30 plus years). About the time "we" became apart of his vocab. our sex life has also became one sided.
