one of the MANY bad things about Werner was that they split loads between several drivers, preventing any one driver from making good on a long haul. it sucked. I had this problem time after time. it was very frustrating...

Hey Thomas, just seems like yesterday you were inquiring about getting into trucking, and now, you are a full fledged truck driving fool. (well,almost)

I won't badmouth Werner, but there are a lot of unhappy drivers that will. Let me suggest Crete, out of Lincoln, Ne, SMX (Smithway Motor express) out of Ft. Dodge, Ia (just merged with Western Express), Decker Truck line, Ft Dodge,Ia, Fremont Carrier Corp, Fremont, Ne, Seward Motor Freight, Seward, NE, Grand Island Express, Grand Island, Ne,Even CRST out of Cedar Rapids, Ia, and Midwest Continental out of Sioux City, Ia.

FYI, Crete also operates Hunt Transportation out of Omaha and Shaffer out of New Kingston, Pa. Jimmy

if you do just a little bit of research you will find more negative stuff on Werner than you can fit in your brain. I did not think it could possibly be that bad and went to work for them. It was worse than anything I could have read or imagined.

I am going to work at Werner Trucking
