Starting out as a new truckers gf

I have been seeing and very involved with a man that I adore and love more than life itself. He is currently going through school for his CDL A. I have been trying to be supportive. It's hard.

Anyways, I have been researching jobs and potential companies for him. Now I have 2 children from a previous marriage and he loves them to death as they are his own. Now my issue is he is afraid that if he is gone, I will cheat. I have never cheated on him at all. Never. He is controlling and I get that. He doesn't want to go regional or OTR but it's hard finding him a job local with almost no experience even though his family owned and operated a farm and in the military he drove semi.

Idk I guess I'm just asking for help on how to handle this situation. I'm nervous and I trying to keep myself busy so that I will be prepared for when he does to with a company that is regional, that's all i got.

Anyone have any advise for me on how to be the best truck driver wife?
