school ripping me off?

So,I have paid my money for truck driver training,have got one week classroom teaching. We started on the truck,I will have a total of 7 days practice and then they want us to take our test. does that sound too soon? we drive about 2.5 hours a day, its suppose to be a 6 week course.

You should not be going down to take your final driving test until the last day of school. Do you have your permit already? Maybe that is what they are talking about. I cant see why they would be taking you down there when you dont have a clue what you are doing yet.

What's up with school?

Test for what? The final DMV test or just a test to get thru school, like instruction for a week, then a test etc. I don't see how they can say school is 6 weeks, but cut you down to 2 weeks. Jimmy

well we are still getting 4 more weeks of school.it was over 7 grand for the school and I am not a "great student" having a wee bit of trouble with my down-shifting.But I cant help but feel I am being rushed.

Exactly how much IS this "School" charging you for this 2 weeks out of 6 weeks Course?!! it would have been cheaper and better to have joined a Trucking Firm offering in-house Training!
