I tell all my students when they ask the same question you are asking.
If company treats you well and respects you. and you enjoy it there.
then its a good company.
their all in business to move freight with or with out you.
They will sell you stars hand you dessert.

This is such a critical question at a fundamental level because a good or bad company will determine your success or your failure in this business for years to come. I always tell newly minted drivers to go with a large, OTR company to experience all weather driving, trucking from an inside-out perspective, learn how to properly do a log book, and how these companies will use you as much as they can. It will give you a greater apreciation for the smaller, obscure trucking company, which may or may not be a 48 state carrier. So, do your research very carefully. 10-4
