My partner is in the process of finalizing the paper work to own his own truck and start with a new company.

This is all very new to me but he has been trucking a different times of his life for over 10 years. So I'm getting a crash course in all the slang and terminology.

I look forward to learning from all of you and being able to contribute in my own way.

Trucker Terms and Slang

Hi Nicole, welcome to the wonderful world of trucking.

You may need to know more of the terms than the slang.

I supposed your talking about communicating with your husband more than knowing how to communicate on the CB.

In either case, you find both terms and slang for the CB and to know what he is talking about in reference to his job here...oh, there are also videos on the page with actually CB talk to if your interested.
