Mistreated trucker's wife afraid to leave him

So I have an opportunity to leave my husband and stay in my house and finally make my own decisions and live my own life but I've never been alone so I'm a little scared but he's no good for me all he does is fight with me and raise hell with me its been a long and hard life but for the first time in my life this would be a great decision for me but why am I scared to make this decision.

It's the the feeling of being alone not the act being alone!!! When my husband worked over the road everyday the calls were oh I love u sooo much I miss u sooooo much..me" How's ur day going?" Him "Oh the same ... Dumb drivers and dot!" Yet when he came home he acted like I should be waiting on him hands and foot being a lil sex Slave for mid day craves! I have kids so trying to get 20 mins alone time is hard- then I feel like that's all he wants! Now he's working local being home every night and still the same convo love u love u too! What u cooking? Am I getting some when I get home? I don't see the guy I met! I barely get to have a one on one with him! I don't have friends.. He's the kind who would rather see me home or he'll talk crap! I know he has male co workers bosses and lots of aquantainces he does have friends and family he talks to! I literally have no one. To have the feeling of wanting to spend time with my trucker husband and he claims hes tired or to give them a few and fall asleep (always) . If I wanna do something it won't be able to happen yet when something fun for him pops up all of a sudden bursts of energy!! Great provider but I'll rather be broke then lonely!! They have their own life outside at work! TRUCK DRIVERS WHO DONT MAKE THEIR OTHER HALF A MAIN PRIORITY SUCK!!!

Well sometimes change can be scary but before divorcing your Husband. See if he's open to some kind of marriage counseling. I've learnt being a truck driver can be stressful at times & sometimes as humans we take out our frustrations on the person closest to us. It's not right but it does happen. Stay encouraged & if your life isn't in danger. Seriously, try as much as possible to make things work with your husband. You married him for a reason....God Bless!

Face your fears and everything will be great. If he is a trucker then that means you HAVE been alone for long periods of time so whats so different now??
