I've survived 30 years, so far!!!!!!!!

We have been married 30 years. Survived raising 4 kids and many many pets and farm animals. It was not easy but I would do all over again.

Someone asked me how I did it, I said you just do it! Some one asked my oldest son how his parents stayed together so long. He looked right at them and said it was easy, my mom made sure dad stayed on the road. He was there for all their births, graduations and weddings. He missed a lot of school events but he did make a few. He even managed to attend Boy Scout camp with all 3 of our sons for a whole week. He said never again it was to much work!!!!

Now we are entering a new phase in our marriage, our daughter is expecting our first granddaughter at the end of the year, so hopefully he will be home for that event.

In the meantime he will keep on trucking down the road with his (2) yes TWO Great Danes. They are his family on the road. Good company, except at mealtime, and very good security.

Me, I am at home helping my son's fiance learn to be a truckers wife. It's going to be a long road ahead of me, Oh to be young and in love!

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing. Just adjusting to this lifestyle. We are beginning late as we only have the youngest of 4 still at home.
