i feel its right to see if truck drivers are using safety at all times/how can someone look up a trucking company's violations?

Hervy's correct as usual. You cannot check on another driver's CSA score, but can employ the resource he provided. CDLIST and DAT, which has undergone many iterations (but is based in Tulsa, Ok) are subscription only services; the former public while the latter is private that also compiles information on CDL possessors in North America.

From a purely economic perspective, it probably wouldn't be worth either the time or expense to pay to access those databases.

I know you can go here to check the companies CSA score with the DOT number.

I think only drivers can check their own score. Trucking companies might be able to check their scores. First link on this page will get you to that FMSCA website page.
