If I get an over weight violation at the weigh station is that points on my license or just a big fine?

I am not sure about this so continue to seek a solid answer, but I think the points does not go on your license.

I know it did not go on mine but it was over 5 years ago and overweight on an axles in Indiana. Not over gross.

Call your local DMV or DOT to find our for sure.
