If you do drop and hooks, would it be beneficial to have a gadget that would help you do it faster?

Do you drop and hook operators like using the handles that are on the trailers?

Would you like a tool that makes this process faster?

Drop and Hook Gadget
by: Hervy

They sell a gadget in the truck stop to assist with pulling the lever to the fifth wheel pin to release the trailer if that's what your talking about.

Never used one in 12 years. Just not that big of a deal to bend down and pull it out by hand.

Of course If I had kept gaining weight, I supposed that thing could have came in handy though. So people who haven't lost theirs yet might find using one useful because you don't have to bend as far under the trailer or reach in as far to the lever.

You can get them (the fifth wheel lever pullers, don't know what they call them) at most large truck stops.

Don't know if it would be any faster?
