I left the company's truck and trailer loaded in their yard and they want to charge me with abandoned load.

Fight it if you are in the right
by: Hervy

I am guessing they told you to take it somewhere else. If you let them know it was in their yard and it was secured and you were not under that load to deliver it, I think you should fight it.

File a dispute on your DAC.

Like maybe they asked you to hook up to it or pick it up from a drop yard or something before you were assigned the load.

I don't know the details...

If you left that loaded trailer there and you had accepted the load to deliver it, I don't know how that plays out. But obviously if they were expecting you to deliver a load and instead you left it on the yard, that is not a good thing and just because it is on their yard doesn't make it OK.

Lots of details we don't have about the situation.
