I would like to speak with a female truck driver about getting into trucking, but I am not sure how to go about it.

I need to know of a good trucking school around Indiana, and the ins and outs of trucking. Who to go with and who not to go with. I am a single female, and don't have a man or a job at the moment to back me up when bad trucking schools get a hold of me.

If there is one in a different state that pays for hotel accommodations during training I might move, but it would have to be a solid job placement.

Do your Homework

There are a number of real truckers on facebook that will give you accurate information about getting started in trucking.

There are tons of misleading ads on the internet.

Check out "Real Women Truckers" on Facebook
Female Trucker Videos on You Tube

& www.askthetrucker.com

before you get involved in a bait and switch truck training carrier.

This is especially important for women who have been harmed during training.

Is there any one out there who has been to any of the schools listed that can give a recommendation? I would like to know some feed back on some of the schools. What you did or did not like about the school etc.

Hi there, my brother-in-law just started with Prime. They pay for your bus ticket to Missouri and hotel. He has no training at all.

They also pay you to train and help you get your license. From what he says, they have a pretty good program. Check it out. Good Luck to you.
