I was involved in an "at fault" accident, what can I do?

I (2012 GMC Sierra) was pulling out of a gas station, making a left turn into the turn lane next to a dangerous and extremely busy intersection in my personal vehicle when a young lady (2001 Toyota Corolla) was trying to race the traffic light and glanced off my front end, no injuries were claimed and I was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way, however I WAS VERY CAUTIOUSLY watching in all directions and simply did not see her... The way appeared clear, so I decided to proceed. I have a class A CDL and am proceeding with a job offer with MBI Energy into the Oil and Gas industry as a Water Tanker Driver. What can I do to eliminate or minimize this in my records?
