I drove my truck unauthorized to get serviced at a dealership

I was told not to take my truck North from SoCal to get my truck serviced. I was within HOS, did not cheat my logs. My truck was unsafe to carry a load. I need some answers.


I was terminated upon first offense.

You say serviced, what type of service did it need.

Often a trucking company wants to get it serviced at owned shop or partner shop where it is cheaper.

If it was indeed a safety hazard then you need to speak to a lawyer about what happened. If you told the truck was unsafe and it truly was, yet they expected (tried to force)you to drive it like that, they have a problem.
