How difficult is it to get another trucking job after termination?

I was a student trainee & while driving a CMV, the trailer either caught the wind or hydro-planed, ultimately wrecking the truck. Trailer was a light load & little damage done.

I was dismissed from the company because the truck/trailer ended in a jack-knife position. Our trainer wasn't injured but my husband suffered 3 broken ribs & I had multiple severe contusions. It should have been much worse.

I hired on with my husband & he left with me. Both of us are hazmat drivers with no priors at all. How hard will it be for us to hire on with another company & does anyone have any suggestions within the S/E region going OTR?
