Hoover Dam bypass opening early Nov,2010

The Hoover Dam bypass is complete and will open to traffic in early Nov. 2010 for all vehicles. It will be 4 lanes from Exit 48 in Kingman, Az.north on U.S.93 all the way to Las Vegas, Nv. The bypass is 300' above the Dam with magnificent views.
The Dam has been closed to truck traffic since 9/11 and has been re-routed thru Laughlin, Nv.,adding about an hour plus 24 miles to the trip. You will go thru Boulder City, Nv. at city speeds. Jimmy
