I met a very nice woman who's boyfriend is a trucker. He is OTR five nights a week then home for two. At first I was just a friend to whom she could talk about how lonely it gets for her when he is gone. She also hates the way, when he calls at night, he talks about the "double D" size women he sees on the road.

Eventually she invited me over for a night. That turned into more and more nights now I live with her five nights a week to his two. I feel badly for him but she says he just doesn't know how to treat woman. She moved in with him after seeing him for five months then realized she didn't really know him.

Five months isn't long enough when you only have eight days a month together.

He is probably doing the same thing on the road and you probably aren't the only one she is cheating with either.

If she moved in with him only after 5 months and she is disrespectful enough to allow you to stay in another man's territory when he isn't there, then she isn't too picky about who does what to her.

I can only imagine the STD infestations running rampant in your world! Sounds like you are going down a path in life that isn't too healthy...maybe you should pause a minute reconsider what you are doing and open up some new options in your life.

Ride With Him

I want to add that I think trucker's are generally great guys. I know this is cliché but without trucker's or society would grind to a halt. My friend's trucker doesn't know me but from what she tells me about him under different circumstances he is someone I would hang out with. I even take his side with her sometimes.

She will voice a complaint about him and I find myself saying "all us guys do that, baby. I think that trucker's girlfriends and wives without kids should ride along as often as possible. My friend did once for two weeks and had fun seeing the country. Her only complaint was not being able to use the female urinal properly and the days between Flying J's with showers. Ladies, if you don't have to work (and trucker's make BANK so you shouldn't have to) ride with your man.
