driving a tractor trailer with a c leg right side

I drove tractor trailer for years delivering heavy equiment and just lost my right leg above the knee in june 5th 13.

I gave my lic up but if can be done or has been i can get it back in a yr if i can pass a test.just wondering if there are any truckers out there with no right leg thanks John aka johnnynutz

i have seen a tractor refitted for a guy in a wheel chair. the sleeper window was made to a large door that opwened to a wheel chair lift. he was able to wheel the chair to behind the driver seat and lock the chair into place.

i didnt get a chance to see the whole set up inside as far as driver controls.... brake pedal accelerator pedal and clutch pedal. this was about 30 yrs ago. before automatics were popular,

i dont know if the driver was otr or statewide, but it is certainly poswsible to get your truck made up to assist you to drive and pass the skill test.
