Could I loose my cdl license and my job after a drug test that came up positive even with a dr.s prescription for all the medication that showed up?

There was an accident nobody hurt wasnt my fault but company policy is to be drug screend after any incidents.

I am prescribed by my treating physician for these pain meds for chronic pain and they showed up (of course) but drug screen Dr said I passed but then turned me into company saying that I failed.

Will I loose my job or my CDL? I need my CDL for this job but there is also other job duties I could and also do?

Any insight will be appreciated.

The point here is if you were prescribed pain meds, you employer probably did not know. If you are taking medication that can alter your reaction time and decision making skills you should not be driving. Just plain and simple. So even though they were not illegal you were still under the influence. I would ask an attorney what if anything you could do to be simply put on leave until you get the pain issue cleared up.
