company driver backing trailer hit another company truck.

I did very little damage to the tractor, the outer lens of the headlight was cracked but everything was still functional. My dispatcher handed me a accident report form to fill out. Which at the top says do not file if less then 1,000 dollars of damage. So my question is will this go on my license and is my company being an asshole about this?
