Can you get a cdl with felonies

My boyfriend and I have decided that maybe he should try something different. I suggested truck driving, since that is what my dad used to do, but that was in the Cayman Islands.


Can he actually get a cdl license or even be hired as a trucker in Florida with his previous felonies????
