Can i get a CDL license if i take prescription narcotics?

I am applying for a CDL to drive the public around, but i want to know if the prescription meds i take for my back will disqualify me?


They are narcotics but i do have a script for them?

Anyone know?

No trucking company or any company that allows you to haul people is going to hire you while you're own narcotic Joy.

It's a huge liability. Doesn't matter if it's prescribed.

Hope your back gets better so that you can get off the meds though.

Consult with your Dr abut looking into alternative meds for pain. (But be aware that many Doctors aren't too interested in suggesting you try alternative pain relief.

However, it's in your best interest. Alternatives work for some people and if it works it's a lot more healthier for your body and health.
