You can take your daughter on the road with you as long as your company has a rider program which allows it.

The problem with doing it without permission is that the person (your daughter in this case) would be an unauthorized passenger.

If you get DOT'ed they might ask for info on her and then contact the company to see if she is authorized to be in the vehicle.

The company may or may not have consequences for having unauthorized people in the truck. You avoid a lot of problems by getting permission.

They likely will have a release form for her to sign or you to sign for her is she is a minor.
