Automatic restriction on CDL

I already have my cdl license from a manual school. What I can't find out is Werner put me out with a trainer who has an automatic transmission, will I'll get the restriction if I test out to be a solo driver in an automatic?


Everyone from my orientation who needed trainers left in automatics too.

If you already have your CDL you are good.

That restriction comes when the vehicle you test with for getting your CDL is an automatic. Which means you never proved that you could drive a manual to the examiner.
