sleeping in any filth could allow unwelcomed organisms access to your body.

You have no idea what will grown in an area uncleaned for long enough. Especially if there if food or bodily fluids allowed to sit.

Plus all types of dust, dustmites, etc.

Of course it could affect health and well-being.
