I don't know. That sounds like work for a lawyer. Their argument might be you should have seen it and stopped unless it happened just as you approached the bridge.

It was my load of on flat bed skid loader had screws missing from the cab.it caught wind and opened up raising it over total height limit for bridges.

The company will pay, but some companies might charge you back.

But you said load. Are you driving flat bed or did you mean over height of trailer on restricted road or at low bridge?
