Abuse of Authority

Abuse of authority can be real or imagined.  What many truckers and non drivers for that matter, describe as abuse of authority seems like an officer doing his job to me.  Not only that, I can tell that the person have issues with the police (authorities) by default. 

Unfortunately, with an attitude like that, a person is likely non co-operative and smart mouthed.  Which of course can easily lead to a poor quality interaction with the authorities. Please be mindful of your own attitude and provocation if that is true of your personality.  I don't want to hear about that.

However there are true cases in which an officer might for no reason feel the need to exert his/her power.

If you are a victim of harassment or abuse of authority please detail the incident here. If there is enough input here and we notice a repeat of offenses in the same location it would indicate a pattern which would be pretty hard to dismiss as rubbish.
