a truckers wife side

We walk you to your trucks and kiss say good bye and smile....as soon as you are out of site and we go inside away from everyone else who might be around...we ball our eyes out!

My hubby and me were close. Now it is very hard to deal with a trucker if he is your own. He gets stressed which we understand and try but a lot of the times his stress turns into taking it out on the wife.

we try to raise the kids and explain that daddy is on the road for us to take care of us. Sometimes we feel like you truckers are out there working for the right reasons to take care of us....but in doing that sometimes we feel like they have forgot us and the little things.

It hurts when you are not here and it hurts that you are missing out on the family things in life...but we know you hurt to.

We worry that even the best husband is out there meeting whores and lot lizards because it is easy and how would we really know.

We sometimes feel like we are married and know we have a husband but wonder where he is. We pray every day and night that our man is safe.

Bottom line is we miss you 24 7!!! its hard but we stand behind you. Thats what a wife is suppose to do

my wife used to kid me about lot lizards she would ride with me sometimes one knock on my window my got up told her she wasn t interested but i notice in the last 6 or so years the truck stops started to kick them off of the lot i don t see anything like i use too an i ve been driveing 28 years

I also believe in supporting your spouse, but you must also take care of yourself. I have been married 17 years to my wonderful hubby. And he has been a trucker for most of our marriage. I thank the Lord Jesus that he has sustain our marriage through thick and thin. I can't say that it was because I was so wonderful or my husband. I encourage you women to allow Jesus to be the center of your home and marriage. He will give you the strength to stand for your family. Pray for your husband while they are own the roads, because it is hard for truckers. God has now blessed my husband and I that we have our own trucking company with over 15 trucks. Jesus is glorious and if we trust him for our marriage and not the husband himself, we will be able to make it. Praying for you ladies. God Bless

I, too, am a trucker's wife & I support my hubby 100% that he is working hard to support his family but the support would stop 100% if mine should get with whores & lot lizards & also if he had relations with any woman outside of the marriage! Do you really think if these guys got with a woman with an STD they would tell us? And if we did get an STD, of course these guys would blame it on us! And a wife is not to take their crap if they get stressed out! We are not there to be bullied from them! If yours is bullying you, he does it because you allow it to happen & he is a coward for not picking on someone his own size or bigger!
