I am a truckers wife, obviously. We have been married for almost 2 years and we have known each other for over 10 years.

He was in school before we got married, I had no idea what this life style would be like. I went on the road with my husband for a few months.

I have learned a lot.

He was over the road for almost the first year and then went local for 3 months. His local company went under and he was forced to go back over the road.

He is so happy with this because he is a flat-bedder and the local company was dry-van. I love that he has found what he loves but, I don't love feeling like I have a weekend love affair.

The hardest part is learning that as much as you thought you were sharing your life with the person you love the most, your really not.

I am realizing more and more that I am living a totally different life than him. Any advice would be much appreciated.
