truckers wife wondering about other women calling him

Obviously my husband of 15 years is a trucker. Several weeks back I noticed his phone just lying on the table and it started to ring. I noticed the call was from a woman, I did not answer it However it did curious me. Are there any other women calling him?

So I looked and I saw that lots of women(8-12) were calling him and texting him on a pretty regular basis. Wow!! That was not cool to see. I asked him about this. He said he gets lonely and needs someone to talk to.

I said cant you talk to other men on the road and he said women are easier to talk to. I cant help but wonder...is this an innocent situation or is he talking BS!!!

i vote BS. How on earth did he collect all these female phone numbers and no males? And what on earth is he talking to them about? Yes, you should be suspectus.

My husband is also an otr truckers and I also found out he has been talking to another woman for two months so far and says the same bs about needed someone to talk to. He also has been telling her our problems. He got mad about me wanting to see his phone and changed all his phone info so I couldn't have access to his phone at all... I'd say that he is filling you full of crap and placing all his chips on the fact that you trust him and you can't prove that he is actually doing anything wrong. Only you can make a decision that is best for you but if you second guess him now and can't help but think he's lying then I think you should have a serious talk with him about your feelings and tell him how uncomfortable you are with him talking to other women. Then ask him how'd he feel if the rolls were reversed. Good luck

Really? I would like to hear more from the males in this group. One of you suggested that all men are dogs and stray when over the road... YIKES, that scares me a little... OK a lot! I trust my guy 100% and he is coming home today... now you have the wheels turning in my head...it's going to take all I have not to check his phone ( which I have never felt the need to ). We really need to hear the honest truth from the male truckers on this site, yeah it hurts, but better that than living in denial.

If he's bored and lonely enough OTR that he needs to look to a woman (other than yourself) for comfort, he needs a new job. The guys can talk about whatever they want OTR- cell phones and CBs are great communication devices and if he tries hard enough he'll be able to find someone. Or your husband can talk to you, and if he can't reach you then he can suck it up and find another way to deal with it- to be honest and politically incorrect.

When you're sitting at home, alone, do you go out and get the phone numbers from other men in the area and talk to them about your problems or how lonely you are? Would your husband approve if you did that? Offer up that perspective, and see if it helps him understand your frustration.

yeah they r lonely alright and they talk to these females but it not innocent. Most of the time they keep them awake by talking about sex and other things like that. I have a trucker as a boyfriend and he also talks and texts females and not just one or two. Over the New Year he was home and I asked him to see his phone due to other issues and there was a woman saying over text how lonely she was and that she misses him and wants him and wants to kiss him bad. Now come on. We r still together but I dont trust him for anything. The one guy is right ALL MEN R DOGS. Right now he is teaming up with a woman and I can already tell this is going to break us up for good.

Innocent? I dont think so, I am man and We are all dogs , he might be tired of you, no you not doing anything wrong, it s not your fault , a lot of truck drivers out here live double lives , at home they are church goes but out here they picked up disgusting prostitutes for a quick one,good luck to you.

sometimes it easier to speak to a person who is as well lonly in thier situation. like late nite driving, when the spouce is asleep and guys are boring, so woman have a way of keeping conversation interseting.

many a conversation with guys were
' well i got just 258 mikes to go" etc....
