Truckers wife, looking for help!

I am trying to find a board that is made towards trucker wives who are having problems. I don't want to bring a positive board down.

I just found out my husband is having an emotional affair with another trucker, and I am feeling quite lost!

Your not alone. My husband has been trucking almost 1 year and is doing the same thing. HE hardly says anything of any depth to me or his children when talking but the phone bill shows him on for hours with his friend.

I dont know how active this board is, but anyway, u mentioned an emotional affair. I have the same problem. My husband has this man friend, another trucker. He talks to him constantlyyyy, I mean like 4,000 minutes a month..wtf, really, what are they doing, listening to each other breath? please tell me, is this normal?

I'm so sorry for your predicament. I've been there. My first husband was a cheater, he wasn't a trucker. Cheaters come from all walks of life and all genders.
My trucker husband is the man I deserve. Neither of us is inclined to stray at this point in our lives -- it's been too many years and according to our son, were over the hill.
Our idea of a hot night out on the town is a nice dinner, a good movie and bed time.

The first husband had three chances. Third time it happened he struck out! Too bad. We had two lovely children and a nice home. I was a good wife but I deserved better. You have to get to that point before you can ,aka the big break.

You mentioned that your husband is having an emotional relationship. How did you find out? Did he tell you because usually the wife is the last one to find out. If you are so unhappy with what he did, then leave. Why should you stay in a relationship with a man that is making you so unhappy!

I understand your hurting and Just because you are hurting doesnt give the right to claim all of the men truckers are doing the dirt your man has done to you....you sound pretty evil to condemn all men for what one man does and it really sounds more like you are trying to stir up shit for other women and if that is not a selfish act I dont know what you call it?? but I can tell you one thing this selfishness is probably why YOUR man did what he did.....

Changing the way you view things can change the way you behave and when you change the way you behave your actions will have a better outcome...

Leave and get it over with and stop making it hard for others because you are wasting precious time on making trouble for others while you should be making changes for yourself your advice and comments stink....

Well first off i'm sorry to hear that. But I just found out that my husband is cheating and lied about being married. So you can post it all here. Most of the post are uplifting,how ever there are lots of women here who think they are in a good marriage. But if they really knew.
I've been with my soon to be ex, over 8yrs. We've been married almost 3yrs. This past weekend I was sent a message on facebook to go to his new page and see what's been going on. Well we're done. He went to Boystown in Mexico and most of the truckers wives know what go on there. Well he posted pics of what he did. He really should be in jail. Old broke down man 50 with children. Really truckers. Then they come home and act like nothing going on...Ladys Wake up. It could be your man next.
I don't think this really helped you but i'm venting because right now i'm Hurting and don't want to see anyone else go through this.
