Trucker girlfriend newbie

I joined an online dating sight about 2 and a half months ago. I had also decided that it was time to move on to a new job as I have worked 9 years in this job and reached the top. I liked taking control of my life because I started feeling like I was living for once. About a month and a half ago, a guy messaged me. We talked and started dating 2 weeks ago. He is a long haul trucker. I knew this would be a challenging relationship, and we talk every day. Some days aren't good talking days, but we try. We managed to meet when he was stopped a couple of hours away from where I live. We found out that we were who we said we were. He has recently asked me if I would join him on the road, and I would love to do nothing more.

We've discussed my bills and financial situation, and he tells me that he would not be paying my bills as he is taking care of us. He even plans to teach me all but the driving aspect. He says he would not want to leave me without having something to bounce back on should the relationship not work out. The waybwe talk, we talk long term goals. He tells me that I am who he has been looking for. The more we talk, the more I realize he is the type of man I am looking for. The only thinng that really holds me here is my family. I can always get another job. I know I can always call and talk to my family. My family likes to point out that it is unwise and crazy to jump in the truck with someone this soon. I do feel that. I've weighed my options, and I want to ride with him. It is what is in my heart. I have never been so sure and inside of something in my life.
