Transporting a shipping container

(Stockton Ca.)

I don't want a job. I am looking for someone that has a job or even just a truck n trailer.

I have a container in AZ. it is My own personal shipping container full of household goods and garage. It is 40 ft. L x 8ft. W x 8.6 ft. H.

It is sitting in Arizona and I need to transport it to Stockton CA.

Can ANYONE please help me even if it is information to get this job done.

LOL, Sorry for the multiple comments, the recapta was not "capturing my word" to submit.
LOL, it really is full of my house personal belongings and garage stuff. The only other choice I may have is try to go thru it there repack it in uhaul then sell container. It was originally bought and delivered to our home in CA. We packed it and sent it to AZ by low sitting flatbed truck. He pulled it on to his trailer by winch. Thank You everyone, you have given many helpful comments. I will check into it a bit more. I do remember when it was moved the first time. The driver had a low trailer and pulled the container on to it with a winch.

Different rates and tariffs apply because by your own admission the container contains (no pun intended) "household goods." The other issue is loading the container. A carrier is not going to arrange for a heavy fork lift to load it on to a chassis (which is subject to inspection). This is the reason you're having a lot of difficulty. There are a lot of moving parts (no pun intended) associated with moving a container that do not seem to have been well thought out (in an attempt to save money). You are in-land. So, there are no inter-modal port carriers I could recommend that have the equipment to safely help you out. But that is your starting point. You need to contact an "inter-modal" carrier. Tell 'em what you have, estimated weight, and where it is going. Best of luck. 10-4.
