Hello, I am a wife of a Trucker for 28yrs., and a mother of 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
I spend a lot of time at home. I have an in_home childcare to keep me busy. I used to travel with my husband until i realized i was doing it for him and not myself.
I have severe motion sickness that i tried to ignore for years. So I stay busy at home so i dont have to go, but every now and then my husband tries to steal me away, but to no avail because i cant leave the kids!!!
I like my husband being on the road, I always have because he went from spending three plus years in prison to truck driving, so i guess im used to the absence, space, and distance.
I have been with this man since i was thirteen years of age and while he was in prison or over the road i became very independent and pretty much grew out of him.
Now days we, I bicker a lot but once he leaves i'm fine. We dont believe in divorce so we stay together. But honestly i wish i knew how to spark his flame.
It seems that every thing he needs is in that truck. When he is home he catches up on sleep. When he is on the road we talk nicely on the phone< it is a greatttt!!!! distant relationship.
