Should I ride with hubby over the road?

Ride With Hubby OTR?

Good morning, I am a truckers wife, I work full time and he is a truck driver in town wants to go over the road and wants me to do this.

He says I don't have to go all the time a couple weeks with and then stay home for a couple weeks. I am scared that if I go in won't like it he said I would so I can see the country.

I have not really been anywhere. To the beach and back that is it. We have been married since Oct. This would be a giant change in my life.

Please help I want to enjoy things with my husband. Seeing the country would be good.

Start small, go for a week, see how that goes, then extend it to a longer period. You can ease your way into it, that way you can both see how you would enjoy it or if it would be a problem.

Why you should ride with him.

I say ride. Even if you just go for a month or 2. That will help you experience what it is like and it will help you connect in communication with him for the rest of this lifestyle.

If you have nothing holding you back you should without question go.

If you have a job. Take a leave of absence so that you can return later if you want.

Remember you can get your CDL as well and bring a good amount of money home driving as a team if you actually find that you love it on the road and love being with him over the road.

Go over the road with your spouse

I say take a leave of absence from work. Go on the road for a few weeks and see.

The only way to find out if you like it or not is to go. Unless you can't stand being around each other, (which would be strange) I think you could take being together for a few weeks.

Most couples that I talk to love it and enjoy the experience together.
