The Truckload Carriers Association publishes an annual list of the best carriers to work for. It is not easy to make this list. So, the rub is it works both ways. They are not easy companies to be recruited by. Most have exacting standards for experience, safety, employment, and even criminal history restrictions; some only hire out of certain regions, while others are strictly owner-operators. A few are even Canadian based companies. But if you are looking for solid, stable companies where driver satisfaction rates among the highest in the industry, these companies are your best bet.
