Started with Neptune Movers in 1972,hauling main frame IBM machines from NY TO LA and San JOSE CA until 1986.
Local in NEW York city work for 14 years.
Took a refresher course (CDL) In 2003 for USA TRUCK

I hear ya, I have 27 years in driving with clean dmv record. twic card, all endorsements and got out of it for 8 years. { my wife passed and I needed to raise my daughter} No one will touch me due to past 2 years not driving. So I am going to start asking trucking companies if they would consider hiring if I attended a school. Good luck to you and me. I will post the outcome of my mission.
