Not sure about being a truckers wife in this relationship

I'm not sure if being a wife of a trucker is for me. I'm glad I found this site, iv found a lot of good information. My trucker and I recently got engaged after dating for about 14 months. So I decided I better get educated...

a little history...

He has been a trucker for 8 years and also helps on the family farms when he is home. Right now he is gone 5 days home 2 each week. He also has a 6 year old he just got custody of. As for me I have a 8 to 5 job, mother of an 8 and 11 year old.

I have been divorced over 3 years ofter being married to a cheater for 9 years and my trucker is the first man I have dated since. My fiance and I do not live together for multiple reasons. We both own our houses I owning mine with my ex (my ex does not live with me lol hard to sell in this market) and his is too small.

ok enough babbling lol being apart is hard but for me having issues because of the exs cheating and resulting trust issues it made it harder on both of us. When he is home we don't get much time together to bond. When he is on the rd I sometimes have a hard time.

When we met he had female friends that he talked to and texted with a lot. I saw where the girls would say things that were sexual. In his defense I didn't see where he had but he wouldn't tell them to stop either. To top it off one of his coworkers and friend has started trouble between us and continues to do so.

I'm really questioning if it right for me. Need advice if anyone has dealt with this sort of thing.
