New to Trucker life!!!

Hi everyone!!
My name is Jessica and I am just new to this whole trucker thing. My husband is in Memphis for his orientation as I type this and will be out on his training for 3 weeks and hopefull will get to come home every weekend. It is definitly going to be hard on me because I have never been without him for more than a day or two and we have a 1 year old daughter.

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated as I enter this scary and unknown world of being a truckers wife<3

Goin to take some gettin used to

I know it will be hard, but i could not be more proud of him than I am now. He had been unemployed for about 3 months and he did this because he enjoys it and it will make a better future for our daughter. I know he will miss some stuff but i also stand by him in EVERY decision he makes wether I agree completly or not because I know he always has our best interest at hand!

Mommy, where's Daddy ?

I feel bad for you and your daughter. Daddy will miss birthdays, events, and things that he should be home for. It does happen though. Adjustments will have to be made in lifestyles. Good luck. Jimmy
