Need advice on starting a trucking company in New Haven Ct and also need an experienced driver.

I would like to start a trucking business but would need an experienced driver to drive it for me.

I have applied for my own authority to assist my driver with loads, but would prefer a driver who could get his own loads as well.

Please advise if you can be of any assistance and how I can proceed.

hi my name is garfield r petgrave ive been driving for 14yrs now and have did it all in the driving field ive been an owner op and a company driver my 14yrs of experience consist of working with small companys and not big companys im old fashion i prefer loose leaf logs and not these new high tech equipment i drive any truck from 9 speed to 18speed i mainly like to run east to west or north to south i do have a few brokers under my belt it is hard to say i wont take cheap freight because sometimes according to where u are at u have to take the cheap freight to get to a better paying freight i run to make sure my paycheck is some what descent i normally run for 40% after fuel.i know that the truck has to keep moving and i will but i have 6 children ages 21 to 4yrs old and is active in each of there lives all im asking is for the boss to respect that.also in a situation like ours u need a driver that will think of the company as his and the equipment as his that means constantly paying attention to the equipment so problems could be caught before they get worse and cost money .it means fueling at the cheapest fuel stops .keeping equipment clean and presentable.give me a call 860 977 5780 my email is garfieldg@yahoo.com

My name is Robert i use to have my own authority too at one time i am retired Marine Corp and have been driving for 16 years off and on. I still have many connects with brokers and direct shippers so me finding loads isn't a problem and i want haul cheap freight.
