My husband was targeted in Opelika Alabama to be robbed. Please help!

My husband had layover in Alabama and is to trusting and thought he made a friend. Since he was passing thru an had only his semi he got into car to go eat an have couple beers with his "new friend".

The man took him to a bad neighborhood where 2 more men were waiting an as they got out of car the men tried to rob him an take his wallet.

My husband then pulled his gun on the men an as they backed away he jumped back into car only in driver's seat this time and drove the couple miles to reach his truck where he left car an the keys inside car.

He got back into his truck when a bit later cops came an arrested him. He has been in jail for a month now charged with Robbery 1st degree.

I live in Missouri and have 2 daughters and work For a hotel. .

Unfortunate and interesting

I was wondering if he called the police to tell them what happened when he got in the car.

Seems to be about the only help to his story with what you've stated. Otherwise sounds like his word against theirs. Worse if they called police and he didnt.

Sounds like u need a lawyer ASAP. Hope things work out.
