Info about a trucking company for new drivers/ recent grads

For those of you who are new to the trucking industry or maybe have just graduated from school ,, one company that is difficult to work for is TMC. Unfortunately I found out the hard way that TMC has little patience for inexperienced newbies who are still learning and need to work on and develop skills. I was a TMC trainee recently( 4/2010) and had never driven a truck with a 13 speed transmission. While trying to learn this, I messed up and mis shifted several times. After awhile, My instructor got very mad at me and started yelling at me and hit my arm several times. I was given about 3 1/2 hrs to learn how to shift the 13 speed at TMC and they got fed up with me and said out you go...

I do still think TMC is a good company, but it's not for inexperienced drivers. Many of the company drivers and O/O's that I ran into at TMC said that it's a good company and they get treated well.
