I am a heavy haul driver have been for most of 27 years. I have hauled everything...freight, tankers, flats but when you start doing heavy haul its something your either good at or not.

I love it , my pay hasn't been very good though. I pull everything from cats 385 to komatso 800 big cranes and 90 yard long concrete girders that weigh over 300,000 lbs. Done it in USA and Canada.
The company i'm at i'm the lead driver and the driver trainer. I have been there a while but due to lack of work im looking. I'm just hoping i find another local heavy haul, its been my life so long its what i do and enjoy.

To me when i'm heavy hauling the bigger the better , i like a challenge to my skills and that means really large 20 ft wide 20 tall and 300,000 to 500,000 lbs , once you do it and if its for you, its in your blood but you do have to be a top notch driver that is serious about what he does and understand where every point of your load is at all time .
